%X 2-Chloro-4-(4-chlorophenoxy) acetophenone and 4-chloro-2-(4-chlorophenoxy) acetophenone are isomeric compounds. It is difficult to distinguish these two compounds by 1D NMR. In this paper, 1H NMR and 13C NMR chemical shifts of the two compounds were assigned, and 2D NMR techniques were used to elucidate their structures.
