%X The chemical structures of three serratane type triterpenoids isolated from the moss Homalia trichomanoides (Hedw.) B. S. G. were elucidated as 3α-methoxyserrat-14-en-21β-ol (1), 3β-methoxy-serrat-14-en-21β-ol (2) and 3β-methoxyserrat-14-en-21-one (3). Their 1H and 13C chemical shifts were assigned using 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy (including 1H-1H COSY, HMQC and HMBC). Stereochemistry of C-3 for the three compounds and that of C-21 for compounds 1 and 2 were determined by coupling patterns in the 1H NMR spectra.
