%X This paper introduces the computer control system of gauge regulation based on liquid press, which has been put successfully to practical use on a heavy aluminium plate cold-roll. It was designed and made in China. The principles and control models of the system are advanced. The response speed of APC system is fast. The control of gauge is of high precision. Applications show that both hardware and software of the system are stable and reliable, simple and convenient for operation. The economic benefit is remarkable and it is worth using in many other factories.
