%X A systolic algorithm for parallel forward-pass fixed-interval smoother is derived in this paper, efficient systolic arrays for performing the algorithm are also developed. The properties of real-time and numerical stability of the parallel algorithm are improved, and the time-steps for a complete iteration and the Utilization for the processors are analysized. Efficient algorithms based on fault-toleration scheme are also proposed.
