%X The growth of tree basal area was well described by logistic model.According to the model, the range of Breast Height Diameter (BHD) canbe derived and the maximum growth rate of basal area can be found. Theresult showed that the growth rate of Picea purpurea are highest at BHDof 35-40cm, while Abies faxoniana at 50-55cm. The maximum growth phasesof edificators in various forest are different.
