%X Aiming at the problems existing in maintenance of electrical ejection engines, principle and method of vague comprehensive evaluation were applied to analyze and diagnose the faults that can be met with in such engines. A fault diagnosis expert system that based on the combination of vague diagnosis technology with computer multimedia technology was developed. Having stood up to tests in several automobile maintenance enterprises in Hangzhou city, the system showed its merits in inference: simplicity, high speed, accuracy, and so on.
