%X It is a global trend that education is getting more popularized,and modemized and is covering man's entirer lifetime and space. The constant advance in communication media offers broad and bright prospects for open distant eduction. This articlemakes an analysis of the attributes of open distant education in the U. S. and Canada, from which it attempts to draw some experience valuable to the development of education in China.
