%X The ethical problems of idea, consciousness, value and responsibility on land use will affect the result of land use. Taking the or igin and devolopment of land use ethics, the article sets forth the principles o f benefiting the greatest public, the smallest of environment damage and balance for generations on ethical land use, and then discusseds the theory of ethical land use on respecting nature and life forms and having the sense of duty on lan d health. Furthermore, the key research directions in land use ethics are advanc ed.
