%X Leaming strategies constitute an important subject of common interest in educational psychology, and the research of learning and teaching. And it is of essential importance in modem information anxiety to enable students to acquire strategies of learning and to master learning. In this thesis, based on the information processing theory, the concept and the nature of learning strategies, development of general learning strategies and their application in Chinese language learning are discussed.
