%X For the purpose of fully utilization of natural resources and reducing silt deposit,protecting and improving the eco-environment in reservoir areas,high-productivity and top quality grasses such as Loium X Hybidum Hausskn,Pennisetum Purpureum Schumach and Hemarthria were planted on islets,banks,barren hills and among seedling trees in Baibeichong Reservior area.As a result the fish production in the reservior was increased from 1000 kg to 7000-8000 kg,silt deposit reduced by 5,160 cubic meters each year. This indicates that with low investment,short periods and good results this method is effective in solving the shortage of fish feed, increasing fish yield and reducing silt deposit in reserviors.
