%X The forming of embankment agriculture and the status of the flood and waterlogged frequency at Dongting Lake areas are stated.The main countermeasures of returning field to lake such as establishing the new patterns that the disaster was avoided and decreased by adjusting the production structure of agriculture, developing substitutive and high benefit agriculture patterns in Dongting Lake areas are put forward also.
