%X Through a survey on the home gardens of the Bai nationality in Xizhou township of Dali City,Yunnan Province,it has been found that there are six types of ecological home gardens in this area,including ordinary,intensive livestock and poultry raising,use of surplus labor,home garden as workshop,aquatic development,and tertiary services.Based on studies on the structures and functions of different types of ecological home gardens,the relationship between home garden management and crop production is elucidated,the peculiarity of Bai nationality home gardens is also briefly analyzed.A few points are recommended to further improve the management of Bai home gardens.
