%X The single structure of wheat colony in Huang-Huai Plain results in a low green coverage during the early and late growth period of wheat.Therefore,there exists a great amount of potential light and heat resources available to crops.It is estimated that the amount of this resources are 30.2-32.23Kcal.cm-2 for light and 819.6-1135.4 C.Day(>0C)for heat respectively with productivity of 950.7-1226.6kg/mu in winter wheat field in Henan Province.Then by changing the planting pattern of winter wheat through intercropped with suitable crops the utilization efficency of solar energy can be significantly increased.
