%X The effects of application of fertilizer Mo on the growth,yield,and quality of flue-cured tobacco in Sichuan Province were studied.The results show that spraying Mo in acid soil can markedly improve the agronomic and economic properties of tobacco,promote the protein and nicotine contents and decrease the content of reduced sugar of flue-cured tobacco.There is no evident effect when applying fertilizer Mo in the calcareous soil.
