%X The characteristics of Cd pollution in soil, Cd forms transformation in the soil and its biological toxicity are reviewed in this paper.In addition, the current situation and harm of soil Cd contamination are discussed.Meantime, the remedial mechanisms of phytoremediation for Cd-polluted soil, the research progresses and the applying prospect are described in detail. And the aims and directions for further research are put forward.
