%X On the basis of the vegetational investigation in Maowusu sandland, the family and genera composition,geographic components, life form and ecological characteristics of the flora of the shrub resource in the area are analysed. The important position and significance of the shrub in this special ecotone of the geographic landscape are analysed too. According to these, we put forward the countermeasures for the protection and restoration of the diversification of the shrub resource.
