%X According to the investigation and identification, there are 225 species of plants used as folk medicines by the Qiang Nationality. They belong to 103 families and 236 genera. Of them 204 are plants which belong to 93 families and 222 genera, 17 are animals which belong to 10 families and 14 genera, and 4 are minerals. Six species are found in Sichuan recently. The distribution laws, new resources and exploitation prospects of some important species are introduced in this paper.
