%X The present misconcept of psychophysical method and its impact in China was caused by the lack of deep understanding and study of the Western landscape assessment theory and method.With a brief introduction of the main methodology,this paper mainly presented an incisive analysis on the major theoretical weakness as well as some technical limitations in the psychophysical method.
