%X Comprehensive Multi-storey and -dimension agriculture (CMSDA) causes greater expansion of resource utilization such as land, light, water and heat than traditional agriculture. It is the result of combining traditional and modern technology in agriculture. Developing CMSDA can rationally utilize natural resources and the human production skill, cleverly use space and time, largely raise per unit area yield, alleviate the fight between man and land, employ the rich labour resources, and increase funds accumulation. Now CMSDA is not only a beneficial trial for agrcultural technical reformation but also one of ways for modern intensive agriculture in China. This paper discusses the concept, characteristics, research contents and effects of CMSDA, and especially analyse several applicable models and faced problems, and gives countermeasures of development.
