By prolonging resource physics which is based on entropy theory,and introducing the exergy concept, a new idea that natural resources can be measured by exergy is set up. The formula of the ecological cost coefficient of natural resources consumption and the process analysis method are also put forward. By this means resource utilization can be optimized. Finally, an example of the analysis of accumulated exergy in the process of chlor-alkali production is given. %K resource %K exergy %K entropy %K ecological cost coefficient
