%X Examination of the herbarium specimens has not confirmed the occurrence of Astomiopsis julacea (Ditrichaceae, Musci) in Xizang, China. The previous records of this species in the above region was based on misidentification. Up to date, this species is only known in Japan and southwestern China's Yunnan and Chongqing.
