%X The advance of technology has brought about the garbage coming from natural resources and a new resource originating from the garbage. According to this point, the main characteristics of the garbage resource and its present exploitation and utilization and tendency have been discussed in this paper. Some measures for comprehensive exploitation and utilization of the garbage resource have been put forward for the purpose of enhancing the beneficial cycle and comprehensive utilization of the natural resources of China and increasing the economic and ecological value of the comprehensive exploitation and utilization of the resources.
