%X This paper has recounted the characters of shape and properties, tissue structure, powder and separation of Gentiana rhodantha, provided bases for identification of the plant. Owing to the root and rhizomaas medicinal parts in most case, the microscopic structure of the part on ground of the plant has not been reported yet,this paper will be of a certain value of reference to ones in the research of histology of Gentiana rhodantha.
