In addition it also had obvious repellent effects on Rhizopertha dominica, Tribolium castaneum. When this seed oil was applied, it showed obvious antifeedant effect on Sitophilus zeamains. It also disturbed Sitophilus zeamains to produce eggs and eggs to be hatched. It is effective to control Callosobruchus maculatus. In the field experiments, the effect of controlling Pieris rapae has been showed as follows: 86.5%, 91.6%, 85.37% was obtained respectively by using 2%, 0.66%, 0.5%the seed oil of angled bittersweet; 89.6% by using 10% Cypermethrin diluted 5000 times; and 79.81% by using root-bark powder of angled bittersweet. So the controlling effect of the seed oil of angled bittersweet is closed to that of the insectidies like Cyperthrin. %K Angled bittersweet oil %K Repellent %K Insect attacking vegetabl %K Inscct attacking stored grains
