%X Leaf explants of Begonia coccinea were cultured on MS+6-BA 1 ppm+NAA 0.1 ppm. In processes of dedifferentiation initiation, amitosis of cleavage division were observed in initiative cells of epidermis and mesophyll. The phenomena about amitosis in initiative cell and cell mass in the form of ladder in palisade cell were also discussed.
