%X The experimental research illustrated that the proper seeding date of Glyrrhiza uralensis Fisch is much longer than we expected: setting seeds during late April to early August can help it to pass the winter safely.It is noticeable that nearly 100% of seeds could pass the winter safely when setting seeds during late April to middle May;the cold-tolerance of Glyrrhiza uralensis Fisch when seeded during early June to early August decreased,the survival rate was more than 90% except part plants died in winter.The roots and stems of Glyrrhiza uralensis Fisch seeded in different date all grew normally when they passed through the winter;moreover,the later seeded ones grew faster in root length and root size,their photosynthetic products obviously transferred to root system.
