%X Applying some basic methods and principles of the floristic geography,we have statistically analyzed on the composition and geography elements of plants genera in Hunshandake Desert.The results are as follows: diversity is abundant in Hunshandake Desert;temperate floristic elements are dominant in areal-types of genera,in which the percent of North Temperate distribution is the highest,makes up 37.2% in the total number of genera in this area,the following is the type of Old World Temperate.These reflect the distribution of plants in Hunshandake Desert adapt to climate zone in this basic area.The flora has a little old composition,show obvious transitional and fragile characteristics.Moreover,it has a lower level of endemic.
