孙颖 %A 孙大业 %J 植物学报 %D 1998 %I %X Plant cell wall is three-dimensional dynamic networks made of cellulose, pectincrosslinking glycans and proteins which are independent but interac. As those of extracellular matrix (ECM) from animal, many components from cell wall are involved in the developmental regulation of plants actively. They exert their regulation of cell state by transducing information in some way, and response to diverse environment. Therefore, cell wall is no longer an inert structure enclosing cell, but an alternative term "extracellular matrix" is preferable to indicate their dynamic property. %K
