%X The seeds of hybridized combination between Lycopersicon esculentum(cultivar Beijing Zaohong) and L.peruvianum (strain 8 of variety PI 128657)could not be obtained in the conventional breeding. It was found that the hybrid embryos and endosperms developed slowly. The endosperms began to regress 16 days after pollination. Division of the hybrid embryos was radom. The hybrid embryo did not undertake the process of normal development. 30 days after pollination it began to regress and 35 days following pollination it disintegrated completely.4 days after pollination, the endothelium started to proliferate.
