%X Plant is not only the passive victim of adversity but also has the ability of perceiving and adapting to the change of environment. The transfer of stress signal is an important strategy of plant adapting to bad environment. This article gives a review on the research of plant stress messenger from the root and its production and transport, and the mechanism of the stomatal responses to the root messenger.
