%X The difference is significantly shown in cell wall elastic adjustment of various position leaves in Soybean: The first trifoliolate, the third trifoliolate and the fifth trifoliolate did show cell wall elastic adjustment but the primary leaf and apex leaf show did not. There is also a significant difference in relative water content but not in water potential of each leaf. The changes of relative water content are correspondence with the changes of cell wall elactic adjustment in three trifoliolate. The cell drought resistance is enhanced by existanee of cell wall elastic adjustment, and the capacity to cell drought resistance is related with the of capacity to cell wall elastic adjustment.
