%X The sliding plane mode of soil anchor is briefly analyzed. On the basis of bearing capacity characteristics of the soil anchor and equilibrium of sliding and antisliding forces,the inclination of sliding plane is derived precisely for the stability analysis of foundation pit anchor. Finally,comparison is made of the proposed method and tranditional method used to determine the sliding plane of soil anchor.
