Confined by the resources and time invested, only the most hazard slopes could be treated and stabilized. Therefore, it is important to develop a methodology to evaluate specified slopes. A system of priority classification in Hong Kong is presented for the rock cut slope which is rendered with the concept of engineering risk assessment.
