%X To develop the improvement technique and the device of horizontal drilling jet grouting, two horizontal jet grouting tests are carried out in clay and sand. Based on the test results, the effect of jet grouting is analysed in detail, including the diameter of jet grouted cylinder, uniaxial compressive strength, modulus of elasticity and unit weight of soilcrete and changes of properties of soil in situ around cylinders after being jet grouted.
