%X It is very important to select or construct reasonable state variables to setting up correct nonlinear dynamics model of rockmass dynamics system. In allusion to the dependence among the state variables in the traditional theories,the independent main variable model of rockmass dynamics system and its algorithm are set up in the article. The example shows that the independent main variable can describe the nonlinear evolution of rockmass dynamics system more accurately.
