%X There are a large number of rock-slope stabilization problems in speedway construction in the middle and west China. Monitoring and analysis are made on slope deformation along a speedway. The monitoring results indicate that in the slope there are deep and shallow-layer glide deformation areas. The influence of variation of underground water table is the main reason of slope deformation. Thus it is suggested that preventing and draining water be the main engineering measure to keep the slope stable.
