%X In combination of studies on AE and mechanical process with that of fracture and damage of material, the concept of AE process is proposed. A selfsimilar characteristic function is provided to quantitatively investigate selfsimilarity of AE process. Based on the study, the recognition characteristics of AE selfsimilarity is provided at critical fracturing of concrete under three point bending experiments.
