%X The diversion tunnel in Jinping waterpower station is located at the region with high mountain and great gorge. The surrounding rocks of the tunnel is of deep embedded depth, high ground stress and rich underground water. The working behaviors of the liner and surrounding rocks under the underground water conditions are systematically studied and eualuated. Some suggestions for the support design of diversion tunnel with high groundwater level are presented.
