%X As for the importance of stability problem of the high shiplock slope of the Three Gorges Project, the back analyses for the mechanical parameters of rock masses are proposed by elestic and visco-elasto-plastic model according to the measured and geologic data. With the obtained parameters, the shiplock is analyzed by 3D nonlinear FEM and the monolithic stability and safety are evaluated.
