肖远 %A 丁恩保 %J 岩石力学与工程学报 %D 1993 %I %X The roofs cut by joints at a big dipping angle in mines can easily take a shape of voussoir beams, which keeps their static equilibrium in a form of pressure arch. When the arch thrust in the ends of beam is too big, the beam itself may be destroried by squeezing, and furthermore, it can also exert a big horizontal thrust on the adjacent rock roofs, which make it possible for the roofs to be failure suddenly, resulting in disasterous ground pressure in mines.This paper has made a detailed research on arch thrust of voussoir beams and their stability, and fruthermore analysed quantitatively the influences of such a kind of thrust on the stability of rock roofs adjacent to the beams. %K jointed roof %K arch thrust %K stability
