%X The equilibrium equation of surrounding rock mining fault system is established. The fault destablizing process with shear failure pattern belongs to fold catastrophe model. The model can be used to verify the known critical condition for rock system to destablize and give the condition for rock system to resume quasi statical state. The omen and post stages of rock burst of the surrounding rock fault system can be described by analytic way. The calculation formulae of fault offset and energy release of surrounding rocks are obtained. The obtained analysis results can be verified totally by the test results.
