%X A triaxial creep testing apparatus with HP3054A Automatic Data Acquisition and Control System is set up. A series of natural rock salt samples are tested and the rheological constitutive equation is established for S_(3-2) salt from Zhongyuan oilfield. The calculation method of the drilling mud density to control the borehole closure rate is studied and the relation curves between mud density and depth are plotted.
