%X The piping of percolation deformation is discussed, and its nature and cause are explained. The structures of bank and its foundation play important role for piping. The reason to cause bank dangerous in the flood of this year is not water soaking, but the structure problem of bank and its foundation. It is important to make measurement for water in bank and underground with available technique, and to study the key problem of bank protection.
