%X Results of many experiments have shown that fluid flow in low permeability rock is nonlinear. The reasons are studied in this paper. Mathematical model describing fluid flow in low permeability rock is obtained theoretically. Critical condition of nonlinear flow is also given. Comparison with the experiment results shows that the mathematical model is verified.
