%X This paper summarized the application of RAPD techniques in insect taxology and ecology,relative of species,systemic development,identification of pest,diagnosing for pest resistance,construction of molecular linkage map,and molecular assistant breeding.The problems existing in the applications of RAPD in entomology were indicated,and their countermeasures were given.It was mentioned that with the development of theories and experimental techniques,insect molecular biology would make new progress and conquer all those problems.
