%X A pot experiment showed that under NH\-2-N treatment,strong gluten wheat Yumai 34 had the highest root biomass,root activity,N use efficiency,N harvest index and grain protein content,but all of these were the lowest under NO -\-3-N treatment.For the medium gluten wheat Yumai 49,the items measured were the highest under NH\ \-4-N treatment,but not the same trend under NO - 3-N and NH\-2-N treatments.For the weak gluten wheat Yumai 50,NH\ \-4-N treatment was the best for its top quality and specialized end-uses.There was a significant relationship between grain protein content and N harvest index.
