%X This review introduced the structure of prolactin receptor,the developmental expression and function,action mechanism and molecular regulation,mapping of prolactin receptor gene and its relationship with reproductive traits.These revealed that prolactin receptor gene could be used as a candidate gene for reproductive traits.
