%X To investigate the relationship between the MMP activities and metastatic ability in human lung adenocarcinoma cell lines with differential metastatic potential.Nine lung adenocarcinoma cell lines were tested for their MMP activities by zymographic analysis methods.The MMP production capabilities of carcinoma cells rose following the increase of their metastatic potentials.The result suggested that there was some relationship between MMP-9 activties and metastatic potential in human lung adenocarcinomas.
