%X The karyotypes of three species belonging to three genera of Tettigoniidae were investigated. The diploid number of chromosomes for Tettigonia chinensis is 2n male = 31,for Gampsocleis obscura 2n male = 31,Atlanticus sinensis 2n male = 29. In the three species, the XO male/XX female type of sex determination was observed.
