%X Abstract: Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis is widely applied in the SSR, SNP markers analysis and the construction of genetic map. It is disadvantage to use conventional silver-stained methods in experiment due to taking a very long time and having fussy steps. In this paper, a silver-stained method of DNA in PAGE gel was improved. The improved method is rapid banding which only takes about 20 min, and the high definition picture was obtained.
